(OXNARD) Senator Monique Limón (D-Santa Barbara) and Assemblymember Bennett (D-Ventura) presented two checks for a total of $13 million dollars to Ventura County Officials on Wednesday. These investments will be used to create more transitional and permanent supportive housing, and help fund the modernization of the Nyeland Acres Community Center.

Other successful measures by the San Diego Democrat include authorizing the California State University (CSU) system to provide a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) program and providing Californians going through end-of-life care treatment access to medical cannabis.
