Portantino (D – La Cañada Flintridge) announced today that his budget request for Los Angeles Zoo projects was adopted in the 2022-2023 State Budget.  The allocation will be used by the City of Los Angeles to support community-building, biodiversity awareness, protection of endangered species and the development of more accessible and inclusive facilities.

Senator Portantino Secures $23M for Affordable Housing in Burbank, Glendale & Pasadena

Sacramento, CA - State Senator Anthony J. Portantino (D – La Cañada Flintridge) announced today that his budget request to create and fund a regional affordable housing trust between the cities of Pasadena, Burbank, and Glendale was approved.  The 2022-2023 State Budget will allocate $23 million to help finance affordable housing projects in the three cities through the joint powers authority (JPA) outlined in Senator Portantino’s SB 1177.

Bill to Extend Film & TV Tax Credit Passes Assembly Revenue & Taxation Committee
