SACRAMENTO - Sen. Bob Hertzberg of Van Nuys, Senate Majority Leader Emeritus, today released the following statement:
“Last Sunday, after testing positive for COVID and starting mandatory quarantine that prohibited me from working in Sacramento, I ensured policies important to the San Fernando Valley and California continued to move forward.
“Perhaps most timely among them was SB 1327, a Gov. Newsom-backed measure to help end gun violence that went to the Assembly the same day as yet-another tragic mass shooting at a grade school in Texas.
