Senator Eloise Gómez Reyes (D–Colton), a member of the Senate Budget Committee and Chair of the Senate Budget Subcommittee on Resources, Environmental Protection, and Energy, issued a statement in response to Governor Gavin Newsom’s release of the 2026–27 Budget Proposal.
