Senator Anna M. Caballero (D-Merced) announced today that millions of dollars were secured in this year’s budget to help support key projects statewide and in her district.

Today, Senator Anna M. Caballero (D-Merced) and Assemblymember Buffy Wicks (D-Oakland) announced that their comprehensive housing affordability and production package successfully passed both houses of the legislature. The two bills included in the bicameral package, SB 6 (Caballero) and AB 2011 (Wicks), are now headed to the Governor’s desk for signature.

SB 1326 authorizes the Governor to enter into trade agreements with other U.S. states to allow the import and export of legally produced cannabis and cannabis products.
