NORWALK CA – California State Senator Archuleta has secured $4.4 million needed for the city of Whittier’s multi-million dollar modernization library project. The money is part of the $214.8-billion budget, the largest in the state’s history, signed Thursday by Governor Gavin Newsom.

“I worked with the Governor and my colleagues in the Senate and Assembly to bring vital resources to improve the quality of life for those who work and live in District 32,” Archuleta said.

SACRAMENTO – California Gov. Gavin Newsom Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, appointed State Sen. Bob Archuleta (D-Pico Rivera) to the Governor’s Military Council.

The Council’s mission is to provide a sustained focus on growing California’s defense and national security missions in state administration.

Senator Bob Archuleta Recognizes Kim Family for Its 30 Years in Commerce and Its Service in the Armed Forces

Sacramento CA - The California State Commanders Veterans Council (CSCVC) is honored to announce that Senator Bob Archuleta (D-Pico Rivera) has been selected as the recipient of the Council’s 2019 Legislator of the Year Award. 

The CSCVC Legislator of the Year Award is given in recognition for leadership and efforts on behalf of California’s veterans, active duty military, reserves, and the California National Guard.

Senator Archuleta was presented with the award during the CSCVC’s Day at the Capitol event on February 21, 2020.
