PLEASANT HILL – For its community contribution during the pandemic including donating food to those most in need, WiseGirl Ristorante Italiano & Cocktails, owned by Angela Warren, has been named Contra Costa County Small Business of the Year by Sen. Bill Dodd.

Sacramento, Calif. – On August 12, 2021 Senator Lena A. Gonzalez (D-Long Beach) presented a $350,000 check to the City of Maywood for the renovation of Riverfront Park. Funding for the park was provided from state budget discretionary funds with support from Senator Gonzalez.

FRESNO, CA – On Tuesday, Senator Melissa Hurtado (D-Sanger) presented a check for $25 million to go to a new Regional Fire Training Center in Fresno. She released a statement today:
