Senator Wiener’s Legislation to Stop Cities from Banning Medicinal Cannabis Passes Senate Governance and Finance Committee

SACRAMENTO - Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco)’s Senate Bill 1186, which restores voter-created access to medicinal cannabis across the state by requiring cities to provide patients access to purchase medicinal cannabis by delivery, passed the Senate Governance and Finance Committee by a vote of 4-1. It now heads to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
