The bill would require chatbot operators to implement critical safeguards to protect users from the addictive, isolating, and influential aspects of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots.

Senate Bill 345, the State Fire Training Accessibility Act of 2025 will ensure the State Fire Marshall can utilize additional funding from Federal and state programs to reduce the training costs paid for by those seeking fire-training certification through the California Fire Service Training and Education Program.

Senator Anna M. Caballero Introduces SB 419 – The Hydrogen Fuel Equity Act to End Double Taxation on Hydrogen Vehicles and Promote Clean Air

SACRAMENTO – Recently, two critical policy committees passed Senate Bills 10 and 594, authored by Senator Steve Padilla (D-San Diego). SB 10 would expressly authorize funds from the new toll road to be used for water treatment, environmental mitigation, and restoration of the Tijuana River Valley and SB 594 would give communities across the state with existing environmental pollution burdens the opportunity to voice their concerns in a publicly noticed hearing when a new landfill development is proposed as is the case in the River Valley.
