State Water Board approves financing agreement with the Woodland-Davis Clean Water Agency

(El Centro, CA) – After a long wait and continuous uncertainty over an $11 million bond for the construction of the El Centro Aquatic Center, the state’s Department of Finance recently announced that those funds have been finally approved. With this funding, the City of El Centro can carry out its plans to build out the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Sports Pavilion/Adams Park area with an aquatic center, replacing The Plunge, the old city pool demolished nearly 10 years ago.
