Key fiscal committee OKs Wolk resources measures

SACRAMENTO–State Senator Lois Wolk (D-Davis) issued the following statement today on yesterday’s ruling by the Sacramento Superior Court that the Delta Stewardship Council’s Delta Plan, the state’s management plan for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, is “invalid and must be set aside pending revisions.”

SACRAMENTO– Senator Lois Wolk (D-Davis) was honored Friday by residents of the Veterans’ Home in Yountville for her work to reverse a 2009-10 budget action that resulted in non-veteran spouses having to pay up to 90 percent of their income to live with their husband or wife at a state veterans’ home.
