State Announces Plans for Eviction Moratorium and Rent Relief

The State Legislature today announced a “three-party deal” to provide relief and protections to tenants and small landlords in California. AB 832, which will be voted on by both the Senate and Assembly on Monday June 28th, appropriates over $5 billion dollars in federal rental assistance and extends California’s rental assistance program and eviction moratorium, set in place through SB 91 and AB 3088, until September 30
