SACRAMENTO, CA – Senator Susan Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) introduced a resolution today to raise awareness about the importance of educating teens about healthy relationships as part of National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month.

SACRAMENTO, CA – The California State Senate today passed a resolution by Senator Susan Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) declaring February 2022 as Speed Safety Awareness Month in California.

Senate Resolution 60 encourages all residents and community organizations in the state to support efforts to reduce speeding and to be aware that it is a major problem for all people in California.

Senator Josh Becker introduced SB 948 today to substantially reduce costs for affordable housing projects in the state by enabling affordable housing developers to make the best use of limited financial resources. “We must do everything in our power to address the affordable housing crisis in our communities, including coming up with creative ways to free up existing resources to build more affordable homes,” he said.
