SACRAMENTO – The Joint Committee on Rules today approved a landmark overhaul of the Legislature’s policies on sexual harassment with an aim of transforming the workplace culture.

SACRAMENTO (June 21, 2018) -- During a press conference today by the API, Black, Latino and Women's caucuses, Sen. Holly J. Mitchell denounced cruel federal immigration policies and called on all to ensure children are cared for in safe, healthy, child-appropriate settings. "That’s government's role in protecting children we remove from their parents," Mitchell said.
