(SACRAMENTO, CA) – Today, Assembly Bill (AB) X2 15, coauthored by Senator Bill Monning (D-Carmel), passed out of the Assembly Public Health and Developmental Services Committee, on a 10 to 3 vote.  Modeled after Senator Monning’s Senate Bill (SB) 128, this newly introduced bill in the Second Extraordinary Session will continue the effort to enact the End of Life Option Act in California this year.

Senator Richard D. Roth’s (D-Riverside) fight to save Riverside County’s four newest cities moved forward today as Senate Bill 25, his proposal to restore funding to those cities, passed the State Assembly on a bipartisan, unanimous vote of 70-0.
