Natural Resource Committees to hold hearing on fracking study: What we don’t know could be a problem

New Film & TV Credit Program Continues to Prop Up Local Businesses

As the newly expanded Film and Television Tax Credit Program 2.0 continues to lure television and feature film productions to California from other locations, the reopening of one of Hollywood’s largest prop houses is a new indicator of the program’s success.

Shuttered for six years, the owner of 20th Century Props decided to reopen because more productions are choosing to film in Southern California, according to the Los Angeles Times.

SACRAMENTO – The Department of Toxic and Substance Control (DTSC) announced Thursday evening at a community meeting in Huntington Park that it has allocated $7 million to accelerate the cleanup of homes contaminated with lead in the communities surrounding the Exide Technologies plant in Vernon, a now-shuttered battery recycling facility.
